Raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens, the iconic opening lyrics of Favorite Things from the movie The Sound of Music. The song reminds us that it’s so easy to find gratitude especially when we’re not feeling our best.

Gratitude is an awareness of the good things that happen in our life. It is both a fleeting emotion and a stable trait because you can be a grateful person or experience a thankful moment. Many scientific studies, including research by renowned psychologists Robert Emmons and Michael McCullough, found that people who consciously focus on gratitude experience greater emotional well-being and physical health than those who don’t.

Think about how you feel when you take time to be grateful or to express gratitude. Now imagine that feeling multiplied many times over. We can, and we did. So, we’ve put together a gratitude journal and invite you to post images of the good things that happen in your life.
