Power With Plants

by admin

One thing that this past year has taught us is the power of protection. So we washed our hands, a lot. Check. We wore masks. Check. We stayed 6 feet or more away from people who were not in our bubble. Check. We ate a minimum of 5 servings of fruit and vegetables. Say what???!!

Eating less than five servings falls short of the recommended daily plant requirement needed for boosting our immune system and supplying it with the nutrients and phytonutrients for protection and optimal cell functioning. A simple strategy to put into practice to help you achieve five or more daily servings is to “eat the rainbow”. Each color represents the different types of food that our body needs to fight inflammation, prevents cancer, and strengthen our immune system. Vision, bones, teeth, nails and our skin health also benefit from a plant-powered diet.

Best of all, each color group offers a variety of food options to choose from. To help you start your plant power journey
